Privacy Policy for NoNeedToMove.com

Effective Date: October 25, 2026
Last Updated: October 26, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Point Beyond Publishing ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), located at Walnut Creek, CA 94596, collects, uses, and discloses your personal information when you visit or interact with NoNeedToMove.com (the "Site"), purchase our educational products, access our linked podcast, or engage with our services and marketing communications.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information from and about visitors to our Site in a few different ways:

A. Voluntarily Provided Information

We do not require you to register or submit personal information merely to browse our Site or use our interactive features. However, if you choose to interact with certain features, we may collect:

  • Contact & Order Information: Name, email address, phone number, shipping address, and billing address when you purchase educational materials or subscribe to our newsletter/email updates.
  • Communications: Any details or feedback you provide when contacting us directly.

B. Readiness Assessment (Updated)

Our Site offers a free Readiness Assessment that helps families think through planning for staying at home as they age.

  • Nothing is required. You can take the assessment and see your results without an account, a name, or an email address.
  • We don't store your answers unless you give us your email. Your answers stay in your browser while you take the assessment. If you don't ask us to email your plan, we don't store your answers or your results.
  • If you ask us to email your Readiness Plan, we store your answers, your results, your email address, and your first name if you provide it. We use them to send your plan, keep your private plan link working, and, in summary form, to improve the assessment and our resources.
  • Some answers relate to health and wellbeing, such as falls, hospital stays, caregiving strain, or changes in memory. We use this information only to prepare your plan and to improve the assessment. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not sell or share it.
  • Joining our email list is a separate choice. We add you only if you check the box asking for articles and resources. Your plan email is not a marketing email.
  • Retention and deletion. We keep stored plans for up to 24 months and then delete them. You can ask us to delete them sooner at noneedtomove.com/privacy/delete or by emailing privacy@noneedtomove.com.
  • Anonymous totals. We count things like how many people start or finish the assessment, the question where people stop, and how many results fall into each attention level. These totals contain no answers and can't be linked to you. When you click a resource link from your results, we record which link was clicked along with a random reference number, so we can tell whether our recommendations are useful.
  • No advertising pixels. We do not use advertising, retargeting, or social media pixels (including Google Ads, Meta, or TikTok) on the assessment, results, or plan pages.
  • Service providers. Cloudflare hosts the assessment and stores the information described above. Resend delivers plan emails on our behalf.

C. Automatically Collected Information & Tracking Technologies

When you visit NoNeedToMove.com, we and our third-party advertising and analytics partners may automatically log certain device and browsing information using cookies, web beacons, pixels, and scripts. This includes:

  • IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, and page views.
  • Interaction data related to advertising campaigns and email engagement.

(Updated) This does not apply to the Readiness Assessment, results, or plan pages, which use no third-party cookies, pixels, or scripts.
